Born and raised right here in the Appalachian Highlands, the Rainbow Aura zinnia was created through hand pollination. Its unique characteristics have been developed over several plant breeding generations.
This variety is still being stabilized genetically, so there will more than likely be a few rogues in the bunch. You can keep the ones you like and cull any that you don’t.
As with any variety, when planted and open pollinated with other zinnia varieties, this variety will not bear seeds true to parent plant unless the bloom is covered with an organza bag and hand pollinated with blooms of the same variety.
